We are having a period of adjustment, a time of getting to know each other, of connecting (or reconnecting as the case may be). Since I haven't been on the interGoogles that much (or at all, really) I thought that for this week's five on Friday I would share with you some of my favorite photos from the past three weeks.

My sister...
... and my mom flew in to be with us for the birth of our little girl. I hadn't seen them in the flesh in 19 months. They took turns watching over me and my little boy while I was in the hospital. They cooked and cuddled and swaddled and played and just generally took care of me and mine while I couldn't.
And this ... The Boy with his baby girl... I have no words.
It simply makes my heart happy.
