Five on Friday

Here's what I've been up to:

Baby Girl had her first flu (milestone!) and then followed that up with a severe case of eczema.

B. ran a fever for 5 days that was often as high as 104.

We've been trying to get Baby Girl's Danish residence visa. It's been an experience.

My wallet was stolen as I got on a train to go to a different town to take care of said visa, leaving me without anyway to pay for a ticket back to Vejle. Oh, and The Boy was in Amsterdam on business at the time.  I've been running around trying to do damage control on that ever since.

And yet with all this craziness going on, I am thankful. I am thankful my babies are healthy and happy and even though Baby Girl still has some eczema issues, I know we will learn to deal with it. I am thankful for the wonderful man I married. I am thankful that he finally has a job that he loves which wasn't the case this time three years ago. I am thankful for friends who will drop everything to come to our rescue when we are stranded without a way to get home.

So, November 2012, you've been a tough one, but I am grateful to you for reminding me to always look on the bright side. I am, after all, one very lucky lady. Thank you reminding me to be grateful for that.
